About the Tap Class

What to Wear
Wear whatever you can move easily in, this might even be your normal day wear clothing. You may get hot at times so you will need layers!

You don't need to buy tap shoes for your first class you can wear normal street shoes that have a slight heel or maybe character shoes but not trainers. I have a couple of spare pairs of size 5's.

You can buy Tap Shoes from as little as £15 from good dancewear retailers.

What to expect
There is so much fun to be had in the tap classes.
We start with a warm up, then practise the basic steps with repetition and finish with a routine which is built up over the term.

Will the beginners class be aimed at people with little or in my case, no experience? I did turn up at a beginners workshop and was surprised by the level. I am a slow learner though! Many thanks. Richard

  2. Hi Richard,
Yes, it will be absolutely fine for you. It is much better to come to a regular class and it will take about 3/4 classes to get the moves under your belt! Shall I put you down for a place? Many thanks Louise

  4. Hi Richard, I was unable to get a message to you as I do not have your email or mobile that I have had to cancel today's classes as I may have shingles over my eye and my appointment is at 11am. Apologies for the late notice. See you next week. Best wishes
